Willie got out some of his Hot Wheels collection today. The races were on and Ruby was ready for action.

- Sometimes I feel like aliens came to earth, kidnapped me and replaced my thin self with this puffy unrecognizable version of myself. And then, at other times, when I'm a bit more lucid, I realize I got older, my metabolism slowed down and a strong dislike of exercise accompanied by a love of greasy, fattening food is really to blame. Time to fix that...

Hey~ I went out and bought that book- Fit-It and Forget-it COOK BOOK! I told E that maybe I am not a cook but a crock pot cooker!!! Wish me luck with Crock Pot Cooking!!! :) ~ Casey ~
This is my first time to your blog and I love the pictures and posts. And, I just have to say that with 6 kids, 5 still at home..the fix and forget it cookbook is my saving grace more than once during the week!
And, I too let down my guard on the 4th and let the fireworks fly with as much caution as you can and still have fun!
I made Hearty Chicken Chili- it had Chicken of course, 1 small Jalapeno, Huminly, black beans, and a few different spices- i got from some book- I made it because the picture looked really good and it was. Although it called for 1 1/2 teaspoons and I stuck in 1 1/2 Tablespoons of Chili Powder- OOPS! it was on the spicy side but very good. E said he really enjoyed it. poor Ellie though, I gave her a bight of a black bean and she started crying- to spicy for her. Thanks for letting me know about the contest. I'm gonna do it. :)
