Priorities

I like blogging. I really like blogging. In fact, I like blogging so much that I occasionally, well actually I often read blogs and write my own blog when I should be doing other stuff, important stuff like taking care of my family. So, I am imposing a temporary moratorium on all blogging activity. I don't know how long I'll be gone, as long as it takes to get my priorities back in order, I guess.

I really stink at managing my time. Anybody want to share their tips for success?

On a lighter note, if you look closely, you'll notice that in the picture above, the closed sign is posted on a Taco Bell menu. How appropriate is that for me?!!

I wish I could help you, but I am having time management issues myself. Don't stay gone too long. Your blogs help me get through the craziness of my days!

Oh the life of a mom, wife, friend, teacher's helper, employee, crafter, volunteer...you get the drift.

I've always voiced how great it would be to have a wife!

In my wildest dreams, how cool would it be to have a housekeeper, a gardener, a personal trainer, a chef, a nanny, a personal shopper...I'd be organized, but I'm sure I'd still gripe and complain about how bored I was!

Go find your happy place and get back online. I found it fun to "visit" with you...but I totally know the issues of time - or lack of it!

See you soon...AND DON'T let all the upcoming holiday stress you out!

Your "friend" in Oregon.

Seems like we are all taking a break right now... I got told that I was a computer junkie and a few days it hit me that I was. It was my escape goat. I've gone a whole week with ONLY checking my e-mail because thats how I communicate with a few people (easier that way).
For me, Its Dishes, and laundry in the morning when I can spare my house getting HOT ( I live in AZ),Duirng Nap time (YES I take a nap- when the babIES are sleeping so am I), afterwards, it put the dishes away and fold the clothes and MAYBE stick them away. THen reload dishwasher and have it run when we all are sleeping again. Before E gets home, I pick up Ellies toys- NOW I don't always get this all the way done, but this is what I try to do. The dusting, vaccuming, sweeping, and stuff like that falls in line when it NEEDS to be done. With my house being a construction zone (finishing putting tile in our house) I don't dust and vacuum as much- I should though, but I don't.

In my dreams my house is spotless, my hair is in a bun, I have makeup on, and my skirt with a no hose fish stockings... ha ha ha :) NOT really... PJ's, bangs pulled back, & never make-up. :)

BUT the kids never go without eating, playing with me inside or outside, with a fresh diaper on every few hours, and clean clothes (unless they get dirty that day).
they know I love them and that I am hear for them so if my house does get behind (which it has for the last 8 weeks- CAden is 8 weeks old now- too fast!) I'm ok with it, because they are more important to me then a spotless house. E might not agree with me to that, but oh well... the house is clean... somedays....
